Psalms 128: 1-4
The psalmist opened the passage with an obvious statement that resonate with our mind that the fear of the Lord has rewards This fear of the Lord God is not creating anxious minds in us but it brings clarity and peace to our minds in the sense that we chose to obey the Lord God according to His words. This reference help us to choose the Lord God in our daily activities as it relating to the choices and decisions we make. Our firstly thought is that,the Lord God must be honored and respected by our choices and decisions. This fear of the Lord God helps to relate with Him as a person we want to honor with our lives, For those who walk in the way of the Lord God through the acts of honoring Him,the households are blessed. No matter the challenges they are facing,the confidence in the Lord God will see them through and they will be victorious in the their situations. The reference for the Lord God helps us to receive the blessings of the without struggle. The blessings flow naturally into our lives because we have chosen to honor Him and in respect to this honor,the favor and blessings of the Lord God release upon our lives and endeavors.
There is joy unspeakable in practicing the fear of he Lord God and it helps us in our services to Him and help our relationships with the people around us. This helps also to point out to the people around us that we are to please the Lord God not ourselves. People may not totally subscribe to our way of living to fear the Lord God but it will help to live in a way that we are in the world but we don’t belong to the world. It helps us to carry and to showcase our identify in Christ to the rest.
It makes us to reflect on the attitude of Christ and for us to follow in His steps.
The fear of the Lord God resounds the light and love of God in our hearts. Do unto others and you want others to do unto you.
Prayer.
Lord God,help me to reference you daily in all my doings and let people see Christ in me and through me.
